Snorkeling with Kenya Coastal Divers

Join Kenya Coastal Divers for an unforgettable snorkeling adventure!

Our snorkeling trips take you to the beautiful reefs of Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park and nearby coastal spots. You’ll enjoy two 45-minute snorkeling sessions at different sites, exploring vibrant coral gardens and colorful marine life. Between snorkel stops, relax on the boat with refreshing water, soda, fresh tropical fruits, and snacks. After your last stop, we return to the dive center in Shimoni.

If you love snorkeling but have never dived before, you can try our PADI Discover Scuba Diving program and explore the world beneath the surface. The Minimum age limit is 10 years

Leave valuables at your hotel if possible; you can also leave your bag in our locked dive center office.

If you wish to bring your phone on the boat, we provide shared waterproof bags for safe storage.

Snorkeling trip ... Kenya Coastal Divers

At the dive center

Meet our friendly team at the dive center for a short briefing about your snorkeling adventure.

You will be fitted with a wetsuit, reef shoes, fins, mask, and snorkel.

All other equipment will be numbered and loaded onto the boat by our staff to keep track of your gear

Your clothing and personal items can be safely stored in our locked office.

Boarding the boat

We board directly from the jetty at Shimoni. Our team will assist you to board safely and comfortably.

Water is available for everyone—just ask if you are thirsty.

Leave valuables at your hotel if possible; you can also leave your bag in our locked dive center office.

The trip to the first snorkeling site takes about 15 minutes.

At the first snorkeling site

Your snorkeling guide will help you put on your gear, including life jackets or rings if needed.

Dive in and follow your guide to explore the vibrant marine life beneath the surface.

Duration: Approximately 45 minutes.

The team will assist you back on the boat safely.

During the Break

Swim Suit

The boat will move to a second snorkeling site. Enjoy water, soda, fresh tropical fruits, and snacks while relaxing on board.

Duration: 30–45 minutes.

At the second snorkeling site

Your guide will help you gear up again. Time to snorkel and explore the underwater wonders!

Duration: Approximately 45 minutes.

Staff will help you safely return to the boat.

Back to Shore

The boat heads back to Shimoni; the landing is a short walk from the dive center.

Once back, you can collect your belongings, dry off, and change in our facilities.

Feel free to take a quick swim near the shore before heading home.
